Gets the display name for the model.

The type of the model.


The type of the value.


Type: System.Web.Mvc.HtmlHelper<IEnumerable<TModel>>

The HTML helper instance that this method extends.

Type: System.Linq.Expressions.Expression<Func<TModel, TValue>>

An expression that identifies the object that contains the display name.

Return Value

Type: System.Web.Mvc.MvcHtmlString
The display name for the model.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type HtmlHelper<IEnumerable<TModel>>. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter.
