How to Install Additional Persistence Providers
Additional third-party persistence providers can be installed by running the setup program created by the third-party persistence provider vendor. The new persistence providers will be included in the Persistence provider list box only after the new persistence provider has been installed on the system. Refer to your third-party documentation for more details on how to install the provider.
After the provider has been correctly installed, it will be available from the Persistence provider drop-down list. Selecting the provider and clicking on the Configure… button will launch the third-party configuration UI for your selected persistence provider.
Note
Persistence, monitoring, and distributed cache providers use different provider technologies and require you to install independent providers for each technology. Installing a provider for persistence does not mean that the provider will be available for monitoring.
