LocalEndpoint.BeginGetProvisioningData Method

Queries the latest provisioning data (advanced).

Parameters

• userCallback
  Type: System.AsyncCallback
  The method to be called when the asynchronous operation is completed.

• state
  Type: System.Object
  A user-provided object that distinguishes this particular asynchronous operation from other asynchronous operations.

Return Value

Type: System.IAsyncResult
An IAsyncResult that references the asynchronous operation.

Remarks

Normally, an application can retrieve the cached ProvisioningData value from the endpoint using the GetProvisioningData() method. The cache is renewed periodically. The application should use this method when it believes that the cached provisioning data is stale or empty. Unlike other methods on the endpoint this method can be invoked even without establishing the endpoint.
