Security and Protection
This section describes how Microsoft AppFabric 1.1 for Windows Server uses security to protect identities, communication transports, integrity of the WCF message, and both user and system data. We discuss the security model and how AppFabric security is integrated with the Windows, IIS, .NET Framework, and SQL Server security models to provide a robust and adaptable security environment. We examine how to secure the AppFabric hosting and persistence databases and the system services they support. And finally, we look at how to secure the use of administrative tools as they relate to controlling a service over its lifetime.
