[Microsoft.WindowsServerSolutions.Mobile.Web.Media.IMobileMediaService is no longer available for use as of Windows Server 2012 Essentials.] Web service interface that exposes various methods for searching and retrieving metadata for photo, video, and music media.

The following tables list the members exposed by the IMobileMediaService type.

public method GetAvailableStreams [IMobileMediaService.GetAvailableStreams is no longer available for use as of Windows Server 2012 Essentials.] Gets metadata about the available streams for video and music media.
public method GetDataForTestBandwidth [IMobileMediaService.GetDataForTestBandwidth is no longer available for use as of Windows Server 2012 Essentials.] Gets a stream object of the specified size to measure bandwidth.
public method GetDetailContainerInfo [IMobileMediaService.GetDetailContainerInfo is no longer available for use as of Windows Server 2012 Essentials.] Gets detail information for the specified metadata container.
public method GetMetadataInfo [IMobileMediaService.GetMetadataInfo is no longer available for use as of Windows Server 2012 Essentials.] Returns media metadata by using specified grouping and filtering criteria.
public method GetPhoto [IMobileMediaService.GetPhoto is no longer available for use as of Windows Server 2012 Essentials.] Gets the photo that is represented by the specified photo ID.
public method GetSubItemCountInfo [IMobileMediaService.GetSubItemCountInfo is no longer available for use as of Windows Server 2012 Essentials.] Gets the subitem count for a specified container.
public method GetThumbnail [IMobileMediaService.GetThumbnail is no longer available for use as of Windows Server 2012 Essentials.] Gets a thumbnail for the specified image.
public method Search [IMobileMediaService.Search is no longer available for use as of Windows Server 2012 Essentials.] Search all the media in the media library by using the specified filtering criteria.
