Use this form to generate and deploy proxies and assemblies to the targeted website.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Description

Generate (Development Web site)

Click to generate all proxies and assemblies and deploy them to the targeted website. The system examines the project property DeployToEP for C# projects under Visual Studio Projects.

  • If the project property DeployToEP is set to Proxies, then the proxies are generated from the project content and the .cs files are deployed to the targeted website in the AppCode\proxies folder.

  • If the project property DeployToEP is set to Yes, then the assemblies (DLLs) under the Project Output node are copied to the targeted website bin folder.

Generate (File system directory)

Click to deploy the proxies to the selected directory.
