View attachments [AX 2012]

Use the Attachments page to view a list of the documents and notes that are attached to a record.

Select a record.

On the ribbon, click Attachments. The Attachments for page is displayed.

View the list of documents and the note information in the list. To view a specific document, click the link for the document name.

| Microsoft Dynamics AX supports attaching URLs to records. Documents of the URL type are not stored in the Microsoft Dynamics AX database, but on a file share or in a document management system outside Microsoft Dynamics AX. Therefore, if the file share is unavailable or the document management system is offline, you cannot view the document. |
