Observable.Buffer(Of TSource) Method (IObservable(Of TSource), TimeSpan, Int32, IScheduler)

Indicates each element of an observable sequence into a buffer that’s sent out when either it’s full or a given amount of time has elapsed.

Type Parameters

TSource

The type source.

Parameters

source
Type: System.IObservable(Of TSource)
The source sequence to produce buffers over.
timeSpan
Type: System.TimeSpan
The maximum time length of a buffer.
count
Type: System.Int32
The maximum element count of a buffer.
scheduler
Type: System.Reactive.Concurrency.IScheduler
The scheduler to run buffering timers on.

Return Value

Type: System.IObservable(Of IList(Of TSource))
The observable sequence of buffers.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IObservable(Of TSource). When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter.
