Do(TSource) Method (IObservable(TSource), IObserver(TSource))

Observable.Do<TSource> Method (IObservable<TSource>, IObserver<TSource>)

Invokes an action for each element in the observable sequence and invokes an action upon exceptional termination of the observable sequence.

Type Parameters


The type of source.


Type: System.IObservable<TSource>
The source sequence.
Type: System.IObserver<TSource>
The observer whose methods to invoke as part of the source sequence's observation.

Return Value

Type: System.IObservable<TSource>
The source sequence with the side-effecting behavior applied.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IObservable<TSource>. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter.
