Observable.Timestamp(TSource) Method (IObservable(TSource), IScheduler)

Records the timestamp for each value in an observable sequence with the specified source and scheduler.

Type Parameters

TSource

The type of source.

Parameters

source
Type: System.IObservable(TSource)
The source sequence to timestamp values for.
scheduler
Type: System.Reactive.Concurrency.IScheduler
The scheduler used to compute timestamps.

Return Value

Type: System.IObservable(Timestamped(TSource))
An observable sequence with timestamp information on values.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IObservable(TSource). When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter.
