Set active dates (form) [AX 2012]

Click General ledger > Setup > Chart of accounts > Configure account structures. Select the main account or financial dimension to add date restrictions to. Click the Action menu and then click Set active dates.

| The Action menu is available only for account structures that have a draft status, or if an active main account or financial dimension is selected and you click Edit on the Action Pane. |
Use this form to indicate the dates when a part of the account structure is active.
The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Always | Select this option if the combination should always be active. |
| Specify dates | Select this option to specify dates when the combination will be active. |
| Active from | Select the date when the combination will become active. The date will be displayed in the row. |
| To | Select the date when the combination is no longer active. The date will be displayed in the row. |
