Create or link to a collaboration workspace (Project) [AX 2012]

Collaboration workspaces provide members of a team with the ability to work on a project in a shared online space. Team members can share documents, create lists, and use other Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010 features. Use the Create collaboration workspace form to set up a new shared workspace for a project or the Link collaboration workspace form to associate a project with an existing workspace.
Collaboration workspaces are built on Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010 or on Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects.

Select or open the project that you want to associate with a collaboration workspace.

On the Action Pane, on the Project tab, in the Set up group, click Collaboration workspace, and then select Create collaboration workspace.

In the Create collaboration workspace form, use the Workspace URL, Template, Title and Description fields to configure settings for the new workspace.

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects.

Select or open the project that you want to associate with a collaboration workspace.

On the Action Pane, on the Project tab, in the Set up group, click Collaboration workspace, and then select Link collaboration workspace.

In the Link collaboration workspace form:

In the Internal URL field, enter or select the Collaboration Workspace URL for intranet users.

In the External URL field, enter or select the URL for external user access.
