Cash Flow Worksheet Window

Specifies the relevant information for the cash flow forecast.

You do not have to make the cash flow forecast manually. You can use the Suggest Worksheet Lines batch job to get the relevant information from the following application areas:

  • Liquid funds

  • Open receivables

  • Sales orders

  • Service orders

  • Planned disposal of fixed assets

  • Open payables

  • Purchase orders

  • Budgeted purchase of fixed assets

In addition to the items in the previous list, you can set up manual revenues and manual expenses which will be included in the forecast.

Each time that you start the batch job, you can decide which information should be part of the cash flow forecast. The batch job suggests preliminary information for the forecast. You can update the information if it is in the worksheet.

Note

Unlike in the general journal, in which single-line or multiple-line accounts can be posted to an account, you register the positive and negative amounts of the cash flow forecast only in single lines to the cash flow accounts.

Note

After you register the cash flow entries, the worksheet is empty and entries are registered to individual cash flow accounts.

Tip

For more information on how to navigate in the user interface, see Work with Microsoft Dynamics NAV. For assistance in finding specific pages, see Search.
