Backup
Makes a backup of your database.
To open this window, on the Tools menu, choose Backup.
A database backup can contain:
The complete database, including all companies in the database, data that is common to all companies, and application objects.
Data for all companies, including data that is common to all companies, such as information about users, permission sets, and permissions.
Custom data.
The default file name extension for a Microsoft Dynamics NAV backup is .fbk.
You cannot restore a backup to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 that was created by using an earlier version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
