How to: Set Up General Product Groups

You use product group codes to determine posting according to how you categorize your sales and purchases of items.

To set up general product groups

  1. In the Search box, enter Gen. Product Posting Groups, and then choose the related link.

  2. In the Gen. Product Posting Groups window, enter a code in the Code field to identify the group.

  3. In the Description field, enter a brief description of the group.

  4. Repeat this procedure for each product group you want to set up.
