How to: Identify the Port Number of a SharePoint Application

This topic describes how to find the port number of a Microsoft SharePoint application. Each Microsoft SharePoint application is installed on a specific TCP port on the web server. When you install Microsoft Dynamics NAV Portal Framework, you can choose to install it on a specific SharePoint application. The following procedure shows how to identify the port that is used by the SharePoint application.

To identify a SharePoint web application port

  1. On the computer that is running the SharePoint Server, choose Start, choose All Programs, and then choose SharePoint 2010 Central Administration.

  2. Choose Manage Web Applications to display a list of all the SharePoint web applications.

  3. In the Port column of the list, locate the port number for your web application.
