BaseDataListDesigner::Dispose Method (Boolean)

Releases the unmanaged resources that are used by the designer and optionally releases the managed resources.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.Design.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Design (in System.Design.dll)

protected:
virtual void Dispose(
	bool disposing
) override

Parameters

disposing
Type: System::Boolean

true to release both managed and unmanaged resources; false to release only unmanaged resources.

If the associated control that is derived from the BaseDataList class has a Site property that implements the IDesignerHost interface, the Dispose method disconnects the LoadComplete event of the WebFormsRootDesigner object.

If the Site implements the IComponentChangeService method, the Dispose disconnects the ComponentAdded, ComponentRemoving, and ComponentRemoved events. The Dispose also disconnects the DataSourceChanged and SchemaRefreshed events of the BaseDataListDesigner object. It finally calls the Dispose base method.
