RunBaseMultiParm Class [AX 2012]

The RunBaseMultiParm class lets you use fields in a parameter table as variables instead of as packed variables, as with a RunBase class.

Remarks

By inheriting this class, developers can use fields in a parameter table as variables instead of as packed variables as with a RunBase class. Instead of variables a parmId value is packed which is a unique reference to a record in a parameter table. The dialog of the class will then be a record in a form that is created in the Microsoft Dynamics AX Application Object Tree (AOT).The run method of this class should generally update inheritances of the UpdateBase class. The class contains variables in which information about what is created, updated, and deleted can be stored.
