See online content about a business
MapPoint provides an easy way to access the latest online information available for a business or an organization.
Note Your computer must be connected to the Internet for you to complete the following procedure. However, if your computer is not connected to the Internet, you can still search for information on the 2 million businesses and points of interest included in the MapPoint program.
To see online content about a business or organization

In the Find box in the upper-left corner of the screen, type the name of the business, organization, or category of businesses or organizations for which you want more information.
For example, to get information about museums in Washington, D.C., type museum, washington, d.c. Then, either press ENTER, or click the binoculars to the right of the Find box to start the search.

In the first Find dialog box that appears, select the place name in the list, and then click OK.

In the next Find dialog box, click the name of the museum that interests you, and then click OK; or, with Businesses selected, click OK.
The Search results pane appears, containing the address and phone number of the museum.

Scroll through the list to see all of the items in the Search results pane. Use the buttons at the bottom of the pane to see additional and previous search results:

Click Next to display additional items in search results.

Click Previous to see the previous list of search items.

In the Search results pane, click the name of a museum.
A new window opens in your Internet browser, containing links to additional information about that museum. As noted previously, your computer must be connected to the Internet for you to see these links.

Scroll through the new window, and click the links that interest you.
