See customer ratings and reviews for a business

You can see at a glance the number of stars assigned to a business or an organization based on customer ratings, and you can read the reviews about that business or organization.

Note   Your computer must be connected to the Internet for you to complete the steps in the following procedure.

To see the customer ratings and reviews for a business or an organization

  1. In the Find box in the upper-left corner of the screen, type the name of the business or organization (or category of businesses or organizations) that interests you. For example, to search for museums in Seattle, type museum, seattle, washington. Then, either press ENTER, or click the binoculars to the right of the Find box to start the search.

  2. In the Find dialog box, leave Businesses selected, and then click OK.

The Search results pane appears, containing basic information about various museums in Seattle. Below the phone number of a museum, the pane displays stars. The blue stars indicate the number of stars given to that museum as a result of customer feedback. In the following example, four out of five stars are blue, indicating a four-star rating for that museum.

A new window opens in your Internet browser, containing the museum’s address, the museum’s phone number, and links to reviews and other information about the museum.

  4. Browse through the new window to find links to reviews, and click those links.
