Copy text from another document to a pushpin balloon

  1. In the document that contains the text you want to copy, drag the pointer to select the text.

  2. Copy the selected text.

    Tip   In many Windows-based programs, you can press CTRL+C to copy.

  3. On the map, double-click a pushpin to open the balloon.

  4. In the pushpin balloon, click the point where you want to put the text, and then click Paste on the Edit menu.

    Tip   You can also press CTRL+V to paste.

  5. To close the pushpin balloon, click Gg649969.ALLclosepushpin(en-us,MSDN.10).gif in the upper-right corner of the balloon.

  6. To save your changes, save the map by clicking Save on the File menu.

Note   A note in a pushpin balloon can contain up to 511 characters—about 100 words.
