Note   When you select a name in the results list, the name is also selected on the map.

Tips

  • For best results, when typing a place or address in the Type place or address box, include as much information as you can, such as the city and state or province.

  • If your route includes travel by ferry, MapPoint adds the ferry crossing time to the route, assuming immediate departure at the exact time you arrive at the ferry terminal. Check the ferry schedule for actual departure times. Add a stop in your route at the ferry terminal and schedule the amount of time that you estimate you will need to wait for the next ferry. Don't forget to account for possible boarding delays.
