Adding and Removing Build Quality Values
You can rate the quality of completed builds in Build Explorer to enable team members to view only builds that have specific quality ratings. For example, you can designate builds that are known to be unusable by marking them as Rejected. Typically, you specify the build quality based on the outcome of your testing efforts. Each development team might use the build qualities differently.

The following are the pre-defined build quality values that you can assign to completed builds:
Initial Test Passed
Lab Test Passed
Ready for Deployment
Ready for Initial Test
Rejected
Released
UAT Passed
Under Investigation
Depending on the requirements of your organization, you might add or remove values from the list.
Required Permissions
To perform this procedure, you must have the Edit build quality permission in Visual Studio Team Foundation Server set to Allow. For more information, see the following topic on the Microsoft Web site: Team Foundation Server Permissions.
To create or remove a build quality
In Team Explorer, right-click the Builds folder and then click Manage Build Qualities.
In the Edit Build Qualities dialog box, perform one of the following steps:
To add a build quality value, type a name for the new build quality in the Quality Name box, and then click Add.
To remove a build quality value, click the build quality that you want to remove from the list, and then click Remove.
