Tag Entry

Gg249287.note(en-us,MSDN.10).gifNote:
Current information about Live Connect is now available in the Windows Live Developer Center. The information in the following sections is provided for legacy purposes only.

A Tag entry represents a single tag on the photo file. Tags are text only. The service removes leading and trailing white spaces, and the length of the tag is limited to 128 characters.

http://apis.live.net/V<Version>/cid-<CID>/Photos/Albums/<CID>!<ID>/Files/<CID>!<ID>/Tags/<ID>

The first ID identifies the Album entry, the second ID identifies the File entry that is the subject of the tags feed, and the third ID identifies the Tag entry.

For information about the components of the URI, see Resource Model Overview. For information about operations on entries, see Entry Level Operations.

The following properties are supported in a Tag entry.

Property Data type Updatable Value

Author:Name

String

The name of the user who tagged the photo.

Author:Uri

Uri

A link to the author's Windows Live profile page.

AuthorProfilesLink

A URI that represents a link to this entry. The value is "Photos/Albums/<CID>!<ID>/Files/<CID>!<ID>/Tags/<ID>/".

This property must be specified for a POST operation.

Updated

DateTime

No

The date and time that the file was tagged.

Coordinates:Height

Float

No

The height of the tagged image area, as a ratio of the total image height.

This property and the three that follow define the coordinates and size of the rectangular tagged area within the image. The format is x0,y0,w,h, where x0 and y0 represent the upper-left corner of the rectangle and w and h represent its width and height. The coordinate system uses 0,0 as the upper-left corner of the photo and 1,1 as the lower-right corner of the photo. A tag rectangle of which the upper-left corner is the upper-left corner of the image, that has a width that is half that of the image and a height that is 25% that of the image has tag coordinates (0, 0, 0.5, 0.25).

Coordinates:Width

Float

No

The width of the tagged image area, as a ratio of the total image width.

Coordinates:X0

Float

No

The X coordinate of the upper-left origin of the tagged area.
