FileSystemSecurity.RemoveAuditRuleAll Method (FileSystemAuditRule)

Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Removes all audit rules for the specified user from the current file or directory.

Parameters

rule

A FileSystemAuditRule object that specifies a user whose audit rules should be removed from a file or directory.

Exception typeCondition

ArgumentNullException

The rule parameter is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The RemoveAuditRuleAll method removes all audit rules for the specified user. It ignores all values in the FileSystemAuditRule object except the user account.
