The name "apps for Office" is changing to "Office Add-ins". During the transition, the documentation and the UI of some Office host applications and Visual Studio tools might still use the term "apps for Office".

Specifies the default value for this setting, expressed for the locale specified in the DefaultLocale element.

Values of the URL type.

For a mail app, the icon is displayed in the Exchange Admin Center. For a content or task pane app, the icon is displayed in the host application user interface.

The image must be in one of the following file formats: GIF, JPG, PNG, EXIF, BMP or TIFF. For content and task pane apps, the image specified must be 32 pixels by 32 pixels. For mail apps, the image must be 64 pixels by 64 pixels.
