IFPCUrlFilteringSettings::QueryUrlCategory method

The QueryUrlCategory method queries the URL category database and the FPCUrlToCategoryMappings collection to determine the URL category of the specified URL.

Syntax

HRESULT QueryUrlCategory(
  [in]   BSTR bstrUrl,
  [out]  FpcUrlCategoryT *pCategoryID,
  [out]  FpcUrlCategorizationReason *pReason
);

Parameters

• bstrUrl [in]
  Required. BSTR that specifies the URL.

• pCategoryID [out]
  Pointer to a variable of type FpcUrlCategoryT that is set on return to the identifier of the category.

• pReason [out]
  Pointer to a variable that is set on return points to a value from the FpcUrlCategorizationReason enumerated type that indicates the data used to categorize the URL or the reason why it could not be categorized.

Return value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Remarks

This method is not supported for use in Microsoft Visual Basic Scripting Edition (VBScript).
