IFPCServer3::StartIsaDatabaseLogService method

The StartIsaDatabaseLogService method starts the SQL Server Express service on the server.

Syntax

Parameters

• fWaitUntilComplete [in, optional]

  C++	Boolean value that specifies whether the method waits for the operation to complete before returning S_OK or an error.
  VB	Boolean value that specifies whether the method waits for the operation to complete before returning or raising an error.

Return value

C++

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

VB

If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.

Remarks

Call the StopIsaDatabaseLogService method to stop the SQL Server Express service on the server.

This method supersedes StartMSDEService, which is deprecated in Forefront TMG.
