IFPCIPAddresses::Item method

The Item method retrieves the requested IP address from the collection.

Syntax

  [in]   VARIANT v,
  [out]  BSTR *pItem

Parameters

  • v [in]
    Required. One-based index of the IP address to retrieve.

  • pItem [out]
    Pointer to a BSTR that is set on return to a string value specifying the IP address requested.

Return value

C++

The method can return one of the following:

  • S_OK, indicating that the operation succeeded.
  • An error code, indicating that the operation failed.

VB

The method returns a string that specifies the IP address if successful. Otherwise, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.
