Windows Explorer Shell

3/21/2011

This package is a Feature Pack in the category User Interface\Windows Shell. The name of the package as it appears on disk and for use with some command-line tools is WinEmb-Interface-Explorer.

You can add this package if you want to use the standard Windows user interface (UI), called the Windows Explorer shell, instead of a command-line interface or a custom shell on your device. This shell provides the same rich UI environment as Windows 7. However, this package does not include any binaries or resources. It is only a flag to indicate that you have chosen the Windows Explorer shell.

You must select one of two packages: this package or the Command Prompt Shell with Custom Shell Support package.
