This package provides full functionality for printing, including the Print Spooler service, and for viewing, converting, and printing documents by using the XML Paper Specification (XPS). It also includes support for standardizing interactions between scanners and imaging applications by using the Windows Image Acquisition platform (WIA).

You can include the Device Framework package in your image to provide additional functionality for working with Plug and Play devices like printers.

In order to search for and connect to network printers, you must include the Accessories, Device Framework, Domain Services, Networking Foundation, and Windows Management Instrumentation packages in your image.
