The JavaScript Library for Windows Live Messenger Connect is built by using the Microsoft Ajax Library. Microsoft Ajax exposes a type system that enables you to add object-oriented capabilities to your JavaScript code. Microsoft.Live.Services.View = function();

The View class represents a paginated and filtered view of a data collection. The View class provides a viewport into a DataCollection by exposing an array, which can be bound to UI controls. The View class loads the necessary resource data from Windows Live when the filtering or pagination changes, so that the developer can specify filtering and paging criteria.

You can use many instances of DataCollection on a page, each with its own associated view.
