wl_Photos_View Field

Ff748793.note(en-us,MSDN.10).gifNote:
Current information about Live Connect is now available in the Windows Live Developer Center. The information in the following sections is provided for legacy purposes only.

Specifies read-only access to Microsoft.Live.Services.Photos resources.

Script:  http://js.live.net/4.1/loader.js
Feature:  Microsoft.Live
Namespace:  Microsoft.Live

// To retrieve:
var wl_Photos_View = Microsoft.Live.Scope.wl_Photos_View;

// To update:
Microsoft.Live.Scope.wl_Photos_View = wl_Photos_View;

The Messenger Connect JavaScript Library does not support working with photos as a resource. However, you can request the wl_Photos_View scope by using the Scope type for use with other approaches to working with photo resources. For example, you can request the wl_Photos_View scope in the application-loaded event for the web application and then, later in the program, use JavaScript or managed code (in a code-behind page) to make requests directly to the Windows Live REST endpoint for photos.

For information about supported scopes, see Messenger Connect Scopes.

The following code example demonstrates how to specify wl_Photos_View as a requested scope.

            Microsoft.Live.App.get_auth().set_requestedScopes([Microsoft.Live.Scope.wl_Photos_View]);
            Microsoft.Live.App.get_auth().getConsent(authenticationCompleteCallback);
