3.2.2 Timers

The HRA server uses the CAConnectionDuration timer to ensure the response time from the CA does not exceed the duration set in the CAResponseTimeOut ADM element defined in section 3.2.1. The CAConnectionDuration timer is specified per HCEP request connection and is used in the processing steps for obtaining a health certificate from the CA as specified in section 3.2.5.2 as part of the sequence of steps for creating the HCEP response.

The HRA server uses the SoHEvaluationDuration timer to ensure the evaluation time does not exceed the duration set in the EvaluationTimeOut ADM element defined in section 3.2.1. The SoHEvaluationEuration timer is specified per HCEP request connection and is used in the steps for processing an HCEP request as specified in section 3.2.5.2.
