The BizTalk Operations sample shows how you can query for operational data on BizTalk applications using the ESB BizTalk Operations Service. The ESB Management Portal uses this service to return or update information in the BizTalk management and tracking databases. The information available includes the following:
- The status of deployed BizTalk applications and hosts
- Active or suspended service instances
- Messages and their properties
- Deployed BizTalk applications
- Receive port properties and receive locations
- Send port properties
