3.2.7.1 CBCP Packet Receive Event

This is an event that the PPP indicates to the CBCP. Since PPP provides the method for transporting a multi-protocol datagram over point-to-point links, the PPP is responsible for receiving and delivering the CBCP messages. If the message received by the PPP has the Protocol Field to be 0xC029, the PPP will provide the messages to the CBCP through this event. When a CBCP message is received, the processing rules to be applied are specified in section 3.2.5.
