Type: Automated Test
Overview
The WDDM FlipQueue test verifies that kernel-mode display drivers correctly implement hardware or software flip queuing.
Details
The WDDM FlipQueue test uses the GPU to render on many GPU device contexts simultaneously. One of the contexts does flipping operations. If the driver correctly implements hardware or software flip queuing, the flipping operations submitted by one context will not cause the GPU to stall and starve the other contexts. Drivers pass this test if the non-flipping contexts are not starved.
