Monitor - Digital link protection test
Note This content applies to the Windows Logo Kit (WLK). For the latest information using the new Windows Hardware Certification Kit (HCK), see Windows HCK User's Guide on the Windows Hardware Dev Center.
Type: Automated Test
Overview
The test is used to verify HDCP support for a given monitor. The test first queries the connector types available on the graphics chipset. If a digital connector is available and supports HDCP, it will try to turn on HDCP.
For internal monitors, such as laptops, the test will skip if the reported connection type is OPM_CONNECTOR_TYPE_LVDS.
