Fast User Switching - VideoTest

Note  This content applies to the Windows Logo Kit (WLK). For the latest information using the new Windows Hardware Certification Kit (HCK), see Windows HCK User's Guide on the Windows Hardware Dev Center.

Overview

The Fast User Switching - VideoTest test checks video drivers when an MPEG video is being played, on one or more users, and Fast User Switching occurs.

Details

This test will create users on a system and start MPEG video playback on one of the users. Without logging off the user, the test will switch to another user through Fast User Switching and start MPEG video playback on that user as well.

During the test, user switching will occur multiple times. Test failures indicate problems such as a failure to switch the user or a failure to start an MPEG video playback on a user. The purpose of the test is to make sure that video drivers do not cause bug checks while user switching occurs.
