The /pcilock parameter prevents the HAL from reallocating I/O and IRQ resources on the PCI bus. The I/O and memory resources set by the BIOS are preserved.

This parameter is valid only on boot entries for 32-bit versions of Windows that run on computers with x86 or x64-based processors.

The /pcilock parameter is supported only on Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, and Windows 2000. On Windows Vista and later versions of Windows, use the UseFirmwarePCISettings element in BCDEdit.
