2.1.272 Part 4 Section, notTrueType (Raster or Vector Font)

a.   The standard states that the values 0 and false on the val attribute are equivalent to the value off.

Word treats these values on this attribute as equivalent to the value on.

This note applies to the following products: 2007, 2007 SP1.

b.   The standard states that when a font is unavailable the notTrueType element shall not be modified.

Word can modify the notTrueType element of an unavailable font if a font with the same name has been loaded before in the same Word instance.
