2.1.1810 Part 4 Section 7.1.2.20, chr (Accent Character)

a.   The standard says the chr element only specifies the accent character of accPr even though the schema also allows it as a child of groupChrPr and naryPr.

In Word, the chr element specifies the accent character of accPr, the group character of groupChrPr and the n-ary operator of naryPr.

This note applies to the following products: 2007, 2007 SP1, 2007 SP2.

b.   The standard does not specify the default value for the chr element in groupChrPr and naryPr.

In Word, the default value for the chr element in groupChrPr is U+23DF and in naryPr is U+222B.
