How to: Install Office Data Connectivity Components on a PowerPivot server
Office data connectivity components (also known as the ACE provider) are required for server-side data refresh operations using text files, Excel files, or Access database files as external data sources in PowerPivot workbooks saved to a SharePoint site.
If you plan to support server-side data refresh for these types of data sources, you must install this component on each PowerPivot for SharePoint server in your farm.
Download and install Office data connectivity components
Go to the download page for 2010 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components.
Select the language.
Select the 64-bit version of the download, and then click Download.
