MergeMedia sample

The MergeMedia sample is a console application that uses the new multi-source capabilities in Microsoft Expression Encoder to merge multiple media files into one output .wmv file. If possible, the application uses the audio and/or video source profiles of the first input file to eliminate any unwanted transcoding operations.

To use the MergeMedia sample, run the built application (MergeMedia.exe) at a command prompt with the full path of two media files that you want to merge, as shown in the following example.

MergeMedia.exe "c:\users\Public\Videos\Sample Videos\Lake.wmv" "c:\users\Public\videos\Sample Videos\Butterfly.wmv"
