Upon receipt of the MLME-PSD-Transmit.request primitive specifying a format identifier present in the PSD IEs Table, but with no discovery data, the configuration process enters the Canceling state where the PSD information element is removed from the table. As a result, the server no longer includes the information element in the 802.11 Beacons and Probe Responses. An MLME-PSD-Transmit.confirm is generated to indicate the result of the MLME-PSD.Transmit.request. Regardless of the result, the configuration process enters the Not Configured state. If no PSD information elements remain in the PSD IEs Table, the server enters the Disabled state.
