IResourceWriter::AddResource Method (String, Object)

Adds a named resource of type Object to the list of resources to be written.

Namespace:  System.Resources
Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

void AddResource(
	String^ name, 
	Object^ value
)

Parameters

name
Type: System::String
The name of the resource.
value
Type: System::Object
The value of the resource.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

The name parameter is nullptr.

The resource is not written until Generate is called.

NoteNote

value might need to be serializable, so you might have to provide a type converter, depending on which resource writer is used.

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows XP SP2 x64 Edition, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
