XLIST Sample: Displays Text or Bitmaps

The XLIST sample is a control, subclassed from a Windows list box, that displays text or bitmap items. It demonstrates methods, ambient properties, picture holders, and font holders.

Building and Running the Sample

To build and run the XLIST sample

  1. Open the solution Xlist.sln.
  2. On the Build menu, click Build.

Note   Some samples, such as this one, have not been modified to reflect the changes in the Visual C++ wizards, libraries, and compiler, but still demonstrate how to complete your desired task.
