asin Method

Returns the arcsine of a number.

function asin(number : Number) : Number

Arguments

number
Required. A numeric expression.

Remarks

The return value is between -pi/2 and pi/2, representing the arcsine of the number argument. If number is less than -1 or number is greater than +1, the return value is NaN.
