FolderQueryTraversalType Enumeration

The FolderQueryTraversalType enumeration identifies the types of subtree traversals for deletion and enumeration.

Member nameDescription
DeepSearches in all subfolders of the identified parent folder and returns only the folder IDs for items that have not been deleted. This is known as a deep traversal.
ShallowSearches only the identified folder and returns only the folder IDs for items that have not been deleted. This is known as a shallow traversal.
SoftDeletedPerforms a shallow traversal search for soft deleted items (items that are in the Deleted Items folder).

This enumeration is used by the Traversal property of the FindFolderType object.
