3.44.3 Initialization

When the server is created, it SHOULD populate its ADM as follows:

  • Services: Set to the collection of update services registered with the update agent. This data is obtained from the update agent through an implementation-dependent<43> interface.

  • ServiceRegisteredWithAU: Set to the identifier of the update service currently registered with the automatic update agent. This data is obtained from the update agent through an implementation-dependent<44> interface.

  • AllowedServiceID: Set to NULL.

  • AllowWarningUI: Set to TRUE.

  • ClientApplicationID: Set to the empty string.

  • ServiceRegistrations: Set to the collection of update services registered or pending registration with the update agent. This data is obtained from the update agent through an implementation-dependent<45> interface.
